“Devotions by Melinda”
Melinda Villa Ramos is a native of Corpus Christi, inspired by the rich, multi-cultural atmosphere of South Texas. Growing up in the Hispanic community, she absorbed the traditions, customs, and crafts passed down from her family, all the while striving to learn from all cultures. Melinda would eventually combine all of these influences, draw on her own creative expressions, and begin to design very unique and practical artwork to share with others. Her work is alive with color and tones that are stimulating and unique. Much of what Melinda creates is designed to be worn and displayed during everyday activities, enriching a wardrobe with “one of a kind” flair and creativity. She now titles the items she makes “Devotions,” in honor of the Spirit to create that exists in all of us.
